Abstract
A laboratory stand simulating heat transfer processes in a linear thermal receiver of a solar thermal plant (STP) with a parabolic trough concentrator (PTC) and a pneumohydraulic self-excited system (PHSES) is produced. Investigations of the temperature pattern and heat transfer in the linear thermal receiver are carried out. The analysis of the results of the investigations demonstrates that under conditions of variable motion of the heat transfer fluid, the convective heat transfer coefficient rises.
