In-Band-Cascade Solar Cells and Heatelectric Conversion on Semiconductors With Energy Barriers

Some issues concerning the characteristics and the conditions of the operation of solar cells (SC) based on In-band-cascade (ESC) electron transitions in the concentrated semiconductor solid solutions of compounds (CSSSC) as well as heatelectric cells (HC) involving p-n-junction, heterostructure or IBC electron transition energy barriers at high temperatures are discussed.
