Operation Comparison Characteristics of Tubular Water-Heating Solar Collectors

The results of the development and testing of a tubular solar collector with an evacuated double-layer glass tube thermal insulation made of used luminescent lamp bulbs (either with or without reflectors) are presented. It is shown that the efficiency of a collector with a reflector reaches 58% and is comparable with that of waterheating flat solar collectors.
