About some focusing properties of a cylindrical field

Analytical calculations have been performed in order to find the focusing properties of the cylindrical field in a case where the charged particles flow has a direction parallel to the symmetry axis. It is shown in the nonrelativistic part that a cylindrical mirror can be used as the energy analyzer for parallel flow with high transmission.
