Attitudes of consultants to drinking alcohol on call

198 Consultant surgeons were asked about their drinking habits and their attitude to drinking alcohol whilst on call. Some of the answers raise issues which cause concern. It may be appropriate to consider a similar questionnaire to a wider profesional group.
