Disappearing condyles in a patient with seronegative spondylarthropathy

Severe osteolysis of the temporomandibular joint is unusual and can be associated with systemic conditions. We describe a 21-year-old white woman with an unusual pattern of extensive resorption and regeneration of the mandibular condyles who was treated with methotrexate.
