Cholangiocellular carcinoma associated with segmental Caroliʹs disease

This case report describes the association of cholangiocarcinoma arising in a liver segment with Caroliʹs disease. We demonstrate the diagnostic difficulties in recognizing the pathogenetic background and outline the indication for surgical treatment.
