Long-term survival of a patient with widespread metastases from Barrettʹs adenocarcinoma

Five-year survival of patients with stage 4 Barrettʹs adenocarcinoma is minimal. Such a patient is presented, alive without evident disease, 7 years after resection of the primary lesion, during which time he drank Peruvian herbal tea.
