Evaluation of the stable and metastable Cu-Co-Fe phase diagrams

The thermodynamic description of the Cu-Co-Fe system was modified on the basis of experimental data obtained by electromagnetic levitation. Using the modified database, the solidus and liquidus temperatures were calculated. Very good agreement was obtained between the calculated and experimental data. The compositions of the metastable miscibility gap in the liquid were found to agree well with the observed values.
