Electronic Journals on the Internet

There is a myriad of issues raised when faced with the task of deciding if your library should subscribe to journals via the Internet. Beyond the technical issues, there is also the problem with finding these sites and knowing what is and what is not available on the Internet. Briefly discussed are some current unresolved issues such as pricing models, copyright, and archiving. Internet sites that are listed include the 1997 ARL Directory of Electronic Journals, Newsletters and Academic Discussion Lists, as well as the 1997 Electronic Journal Market Overview published by CARL.
