A reevaluation of natNe(p,x)18F yields with 19–41 MeV protons

The yield for natNe(p,x)18F has been measured for incident beam energies from 19 to 41 MeV. The yields measured under different circumstances on two different accelerators are in good agreement, but disagree with the recently published data. The calculated thick target saturation yields based on 2.5 ≤ ΔE ≤ 10 MeV measurements are 30 ± 8 mCi/μA for 30 MeV, and 160 ± 40 mCi/μA for 40 MeV.
