The NIM alanine-ESP dosimetric system for industrial radiation processing

The research on the alanine-ESR dosimetric system for industrial radiation processing started in 1983 in our institute. Since 1988, the system has been utilized as a transfer standard to establish a program for the National Dose Assurance Service (NDAS), which is used to unify the quantity of absorbed dose in high-level dosimetry all over China. To date, more than 50 facilities have participated in the program and over 400 dose checks have been carried out.
