Excitation functions of α-induced reactions on gold for α-particle energies between 11 and 36 MeV

Excitation functions for the (α,γ), (α,χn) with χ = 1–3, (α,p3n) and (α,α′n) reactions on 197Au at α-particle energies up to 36 MeV determined by means of the activation technique are presented and discussed in comparison with previously reported data. Isomeric ratios for the (α,α′n) reaction were deduced. The obtained experimental results are interpreted by the exciton model in the framework of the code COMPLET.
