Determination of the half-life of 233Th

The half-life of 233Th has been determined by following the intensities of fourteen gamma rays from the decay of 233Th produced by neutron-irradiation of 232Th. Ten different data evaluation procedures were used in the analysis of the decay data. A new accurate value of the half-life has been determined to be 21.83(4) min.
