  • Abstract
    Natural La2O3 irradiated with not, vert, similar80 MeV 12C6+ results in the formation of carrier-free isotopes, 146,147Eu, in the matrix. The produced carrier-free radioisotopes have been quantitatively separated with 1% HDEHP from 10−3 M HCl solution. The europium radioisotopes have been successfully back extracted into DTPA and EDTA medium for biomedical applications.
