Abstract :
The synthesis of several series of anthraquinone vat dyes is described. The dyes were dyed on polyester, cotton and cotton¯polyester blend fabrics and their dyeing and fastness properties evaluated. The levelling and fastness properties of all dyed samples meet commercial requirements.
