  • Abstract
    Low temperature (10 K) spectra of amorphous a-C:N:H layers are reported for the first time. The spectra reveal remarkable temperature effects dependent on the method of obtaining the material. The source of the observed effects is found to be the presence of small amounts of oxygen in samples. The role of internal stress is indicated.
