Abstract :
We characterize the fractal dimension of the projection of carbon black aggregates and carbon black aerosol clusters by image analysis of transmission electronic microscopy (TEM) and optical microscopy (OM). The results are compared to a numerical model in order to determine the real three-dimensional fractal dimension and the lower cut-off of the different fractal domains observed
