Abstract :
The crystal structure of tetragonal Mn3Ga5 has been determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The space group is P42/nmc with a=12.659(2) ? and b=24.616(6) ?. Rw=1.50%. The structure is mainly made up of 38 atoms clusters isotypic to those found in GAMMA-brass, Cu5Zn8.
