[MnII(t-Bu)4salen]2 and Its Reaction with TCNE

MnII(t-Bu)4salen has been prepared and magnetically characterized as a dimer with weak intradimer coupling of J=-7.8 cm-1 (J/kB=11 K) for H=-2JSa·Sb. The electron transfer salt of TCNE and MnII(t-Bu)4salen exhibits weak antiferromagnetic coupling.
