Comparative study of the initial surface absorption and chloride diffusion of high performance zeolite, silica fume and PFA concretes

Channel karren-like features are described, occurring on sediment free rock surfaces in flooded conduits. Direct observation during times of increased flow indicates an origin, at least in part, due to abrasion by moving sediment.
