Abstract
SUMMARY.The use of otherwise redundant nasolabial flap skin is described for lining in reconstruction of full-thickness alar defects. The techniques have been successfully used to reconstruct full-thickness alar defects in four patients. The overall procedure has the advantage of providing well-vascularised tissue of appropriate colour, texture and thickness for external skin and nasal lining in one-stage reconstruction.
