Castlemanʹs disease presenting as a midline neck mass

We report the case of a 13-year-old girl who presented with a painless midline submental mass. Excision biopsy confirmed Castlemanʹs disease of the hyaline-vascular type. This unusual condition needs to be considered in the differential diagnosis of masses arising in the neck.
