Abstract :
Legionella pericarditis is a rare and serious manifestation of Legionnaireʹs disease. A case is presented in which the diagnosis was established by direct fluorescent antibody staining on a pericardial tissue specimen. Video-assisted thoracoscopy was used safely and effectively in diagnosis and management in this case.
