Mitral homograft replacement of the tricuspid valve for endocarditis

An infected tricuspid valve was successfully replaced with a fresh mitral homograft. This operation is preferable to valvectomy alone or the use of a stented prosthesis in terms of hemodynamics and resistance to infection.
