Robotic arrhythmia surgery and resynchronization

Over the last decade, significant technological advancements have occurred in cardiac surgery. One such breakthrough has been the use of robotic telemanipulation systems, which allow the surgeon to perform cardiac surgery through a minimally invasive approach. As a result, surgery for atrial fibrillation and resynchronization therapy for congestive heart failure have been increasingly incorporated into the surgeonʹs armamentarium.
