Cone b-wave implicit time a an early predictor of rubeoi in central retinal vein occluion

Purpoe To invetigate the predictive value of the cone b-wave implicit time in the 30-Hz flicker electroretinogram for rubeoi in the acute phae of central retinal vein occluion. Method In a propective tudy, 25 patient (25 eye) with a central retinal vein occluion of le than 14 dayʹ duration were examined with electroretinography and followed up for a minimum of 18 month. Reult The cone b-wave implicit time in the eye that developed rubeoi (n = 11) wa more than 37.1 milliecond and in the eye that did not develop rubeoi (n = 14), le than 37 milliecond (P <.00001). Concluion The cone b-wave implicit time in the 30-Hz flicker electroretinogram i a good predictor of rubeoi at an early tage in eye with central retinal vein occluion.
