Ue of latanoprot in the treatment of glaucoma aociated with turge-Weber yndrome

PURPOE: To determine if latanoprot reduce intraocular preure in eye with glaucoma aociated with turge-Weber yndrome. METHOD: We conducted a propective tudy in which eye with uncontrolled intraocular preure aociated with turge-Weber yndrome were treated with latanoprot 0.005% once daily. All eye were already receiving at leat two other antiglaucoma medication. Intraocular preure wa meaured at baeline and after treatment for at leat 1 month. All intraocular preure meaurement were taken within 24 hour of drug intillation. REULT: ix eye of ix patient received latanoprot. Two (28%) of the ix eye demontrated an intraocular preure decreae that averaged 8.8 mm Hg. Thee two reponder had juvenile onet glaucoma, wherea the four nonreponder had congenital onet glaucoma. CONCLUION: Latanoprot may ignificantly reduce intraocular preure in elected patient with glaucoma aociated with turge-Weber yndrome.
