Technique for repair of decemet membrane detachment

PURPOE: To demontrate a ucceful repair of an intractable Decemet membrane detachment. METHOD: Cae report. We ued trancorneal mattre uture to fixate Decemet membrane to the cornea in combination with intracameral air injection. REULT: Thi technique reulted in reattachment of Decemet membrane and a ubtantial viual acuity improvement after complete reolution of corneal edema. CONCLUION: urgical repair may be needed in cae of large Decemet membrane detachment. Thi technique provide an additional urgical alternative to repair intractable Decemet membrane detachment without cauing exceive anterior chamber diruption; it may alo prevent the need for a penetrating keratoplaty.
