Taral margin rotation with poterior lamella uperadvancement for the management of cicatricial entropion of the upper eyelid Original Reearch Article

PURPOE: To report the efficacy of taral margin rotation with poterior lamella uperadvancement in the management of cicatricial entropion of the upper eyelid. METHOD: In 15 conecutive patient, 22 eyelid with cicatricial entropion were managed with taral margin rotation and poterior lamella uperadvancement. In a retropective tudy, the technique and reult were evaluated. REULT: In all 22 upper eyelid, the normal eyelahe rotated away from the urface of the eye. Mean follow-up wa 12.9 ± 12.4 month (range, 1 to 48 month). One eyelid developed buckling of the taru. Three eyelid needed electrolyi to treat iolated metaplatic cilia poterior to the normal lah line. CONCLUION: Taral margin rotation with poterior lamella uperadvancement appear to be effective in managing cicatricial entropion of the upper lid.
