Multiple evanecent white dot yndrome in older patient

PURPOE: To report two patient in their eventh decade who exhibited finding conitent with multiple evanecent white dot yndrome. METHOD: Cae report of two patient referred for evaluation of decreaed viion, viual field lo, and retinal white pot. REULT: A 60-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman had photopia, viual field lo, and decreaed central viual acuity. Examination dicloed numerou white retinal pot, ranging from 50 to 400 μm, with eventual foveal granularity. Viual field teting howed an enlarged blind pot and peripheral field defect. Fluorecein angiography, electroretinography, and electrooculography reult were conitent with multiple evanecent white dot yndrome. Eventually, the retinal leion reolved in both patient and baeline viual acuity wa recovered. CONCLUION: A diagnoi of multiple evanecent white dot yndrome hould be conidered in patient with retinal finding typical of multiple evanecent white dot yndrome, regardle of age.
