Abstract
PURPOE: To decribe the clinical and hitopathologic finding in a patient with corticoteroid-induced open-angle glaucoma attributable to an adrenocorticotropin-ecreting malignant carcinoid of the thymu.
METHOD: Cae report. In a 33-year-old man, the clinical coure, laboratory finding, and imaging reult a well a the hitopathologic finding are decribed.
REULT: Increaed intraocular preure in thi patient repreented a manifetation of evere hypercortiolim attributable to a malignant adrenocorticotropin-ecreting carcinoid tumor. urgical removal reulted in return of the intraocular preure value to normal level.
CONCLUION: Thymic carcinoid i a rare caue of Cuhing yndrome, which can lead to increaed intraocular preure.
