Catleman dieae preenting with ophthalmic ign and ymptom

PURPOE: To decribe a patient with multicentric Catleman dieae who wa initially examined with ophthalmic ign and ymptom. METHOD: Cae report. A 71-year-old man wa initially examined with welling of both upper eyelid and diplopia of 2 month’ duration. REULT: Medical evaluation and right axillary lymph node biopy dicloed Catleman dieae. ytemic corticoteroid treatment temporarily reolved ign and ymptom, but the patient died of recurrence with cytomegaloviru and Apergillu infection 10 month after initial examination. CONCLUION: Multicentric Catleman dieae i a rare but ditinct diorder that may preent initially with ocular ign and ymptom. Thi dieae mut be included in the differential diagnoi of orbital peudotumor and lymphoma.
