Optical coherence tomography image of pontaneou macular hole cloure

PURPOE: To invetigate optical coherence tomography image of pontaneou macular hole cloure. METHOD: Cae report. In a 60-year-old woman with full-thickne macular hole, poterior vitreou detachment, and previou branch retinal vein occluion, we oberved the entire coure of pontaneou macular hole cloure by ue of optical coherence tomography. REULT: pontaneou macular hole cloure began a the inward protruion of the tiue around the margin of the macular hole. The protruding tiue then connected to bridge the macular hole, which mimicked a foveal retinal detachment. The bridged tiue gradually thickened, and the foveal detachment and perifoveal cyt reolved. The fovea eventually regained it normal configuration. CONCLUION: The bridging of the protruding retinal tiue over the macular hole play a key role in pontaneou macular hole cloure.
