Cerebropinal fluid leakage during endocopic forehead lifting

PURPOE: To report a cae of endocopic brow lift in which cerebropinal fluid leakage wa encountered. METHOD: A 69-year-old otherwie healthy man underwent endocopic forehead lifting. REULT: An area of trong adherence wa encountered in the area of the left uperior paracentral calp inciion. A the adherence wa releaed, clear fluid extruded (cerebropinal fluid) and a burr hole wa dicovered. Aborbable gelatin ponge wa placed over the dural defect and burr hole, and cloure of the endocopic calp inciion wa accomplihed. CONCLUION: Caution i uggeted in performing thi procedure when a patient ha any hitory of a head trauma.
