Anterior uveiti a the initial ign of adult Kawaaki yndrome (mucocutaneou lymph node yndrome)

PURPOE: To report anterior uveiti a the initial ign of adult Kawaaki yndrome (mucocutaneou lymph node yndrome). METHOD: Cae report. REULT: Kawaaki yndrome wa diagnoed in an 18-year-old woman with reduction of viion caued by anterior uveiti, fever, erythemateou cutaneou rah, conjunctival injection, and cervical lymph adenopathy, after medical examination including erologic tet. Apirin and intravenou immunoglobulin were given, reulting in improvement of the condition. CONCLUION: lit-lamp examination hould be ueful in the evaluation of patient with upected Kawaaki yndrome, differentiating thi condition from treptococcal and taphylococcal toxin-mediated dieae, viral infection, and drug reaction, not commonly aociated with anterior uveiti.
