PURPOE: To report a erratia marcecen infection that clinically imulated a conjunctival neoplam. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A healthy 80-year-old man without contact lene preented with a pink–yellow conjunctival ma that reembled a olid neoplam. tain and culture of material that exuded from the ma during urgery revealed marcecen. Hitopathology dicloed an epithelial-lined cyt with macrophage containing marcecen. CONCLUION: Although marcecen uually affect the eye a a keratoconjunctiviti in patient with contact lene, it can alo preent a a ma imulating a neoplam in a patient who doe not wear contact lene.
