Bilateral ixth nerve paly aociated with MDMA (“ectay”) abue

PURPOE: To report the aociation of methylenedioxymetamphetamine (MDMA, “ectay”) abue and bilateral ixth nerve paly. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 17-year-old male preented with horizontal diplopia in all direction of gaze after having taken MDMA tablet at 5-day to 7-day interval during a 2-month period. Examination howed bilateral ixth nerve paly. Ocular motility returned to normal within 5 day without ue of MDMA and with no other treatment. CONCLUION: Methylenedioxymetamphetamine “ectay” abue hould be conidered in the differential diagnoi in otherwie unexplained ixth nerve paly
