Acute tranient myopia induced by indapamide

PURPOE: To report on a cae of acute tranient myopia aociated with ciliochoroidal detachment induced by indapamide. METHOD: Cae report. Clinical examination, ultraonography, and fluorecein angiography were performed during the acute phae of dieae and convalecence. REULT: After indapamide wa dicontinued, acute bilateral myopia, which wa aociated with anterior chamber hallowing and diffue choroidal thickening, reolved pontaneouly 8 day after onet. The initial angiography howed cattered iland of delayed fluorecein filling that diappeared without any permanent change by day 30. CONCLUION: Indapamide can induce pontaneouly reolving tranient myopia aociated with diffue choroidal thickening.
