Optical coherence tomography in the tudy of the Goldmann–Favre yndrome

PURPOE: To report a cae of Goldmann–Favre yndrome with pecial emphai on the optical coherence tomography finding. METHOD: In a 23-year-old white man with an 8-year hitory of viual impairment in both eye and night blindne, vertical and horizontal optical coherence tomography image were obtained through the macula and through the retinochii located at the temporal ide of the macula. REULT: Optical coherence tomography howed in the left eye a clear lo of the inner retinal layer at the fovea and the formation of inner and outer retinal layer hole in the temporally located retinochii. The outer retinal layer hole had rolled edge. CONCLUION: In Goldmann–Favre yndrome, optical coherence tomography demontrated confluent macular cytoid change and retinochii in both eye. In the left eye, a lamellar macular hole and retinochii with inner retinal layer and outer retinal layer hole were oberved. The outer retinal layer hole had rolled edge.
