Intravitreal antiviral injection a adjunctive therapy in the management of immunocompetent patient with necrotizing herpetic retinopathy

PURPOE: To report the ue of intravitreal antiviral injection a adjunctive therapy in the management of three immunocompetent patient with necrotizing herpetic retinopathy. METHOD: Cae erie. REULT: Three patient with necrotizing herpetic retinopathy received intravitreal antiviral injection for treatment of progreive retiniti, depite tandard intravenou acyclovir therapy. The retiniti reolved and viual acuity improved after a minimum of 6 month of follow-up in each cae. CONCLUION: Intravitreal antiviral injection may be a afe and efficaciou adjunctive therapy in the management of patient with necrotizing herpetic retinopathy
