Rhegmatogenou retinal detachment in retinoblatoma patient undergoing chemoreduction and cryotherapy

PURPOE: To report the development of rhegmatogenou retinal detachment, with the retinal break adjacent to a cryotherapy car, in three patient undergoing ytemic chemotherapy for intraocular retinoblatoma. METHOD: Cae erie. REULT: Three patient with intraocular retinoblatoma were referred after poor repone to ytemic chemotherapy and local cryotherapy; three eye of thee three patient were noted to have rhegmatogenou retinal detachment and active retinoblatoma, with retinal break adjacent to cryotherapy car. CONCLUION: Rhegmatogenou retinal detachment may reult from retinal necroi aociated with cryotherapy in the etting of intraocular retinoblatoma treated with ytemic chemotherapy and local cryotherapy
