Blepharoptoi-induced uperior keratoconu

PURPOE: Thi clinical cae report demontrate blepharoptoi-induced corneal teepening and it ubequent reolution after blepharoptoi urgery. METHOD: A 62-year-old man complaining of blurred viion without apparent caue on clinical examination underwent keratometry and computerized corneal topography, which revealed uperior corneal teepening in both eye. Bilateral upper eyelid blepharoptoi urgery wa performed. REULT: Three month after blepharoptoi urgery, repeat computerized corneal topography revealed normal corneal contour with improved viion in both eye. CONCLUION: Blepharoptoi i a common condition that may induce uperior corneal ectaia that i not evident by manifet refraction, lit-lamp examination, or keratometry. Computerized corneal topography can help detect uch ubtle corneal abnormalitie and guide therapy.
