Recurrent orbital olitary fibrou tumor in a 14-year-old girl

PURPOE: To report a cae of orbital olitary fibrou tumor in a pediatric patient. METHOD: Cae report and review of the literature. REULT: A 14-year-old girl preented with a 5-month hitory of painle proptoi of the left eye. Magnetic reonance imaging revealed a well-circumcribed ma in the anterior uperomedial left orbit. The leion wa excied, and hitopathologic examination revealed a olitary fibrou tumor. The leion recurred in the orbit 4 month potoperatively, and hitologic examination of the new leion wa conitent with olitary fibrou tumor. CONCLUION: Baed on thi cae report of orbital olitary fibrou tumor in a pediatric patient, olitary fibrou tumor hould be included in the differential diagnoi of pediatric orbital tumor.
