Orbital compreion yndrome after orbital extravaation of X-ray contrat material

PURPOE: To report the orbital compreion yndrome after orbital extravaation of x-ray contrat material during catheterization of the left middle meningeal artery. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 61-year-old woman had profound lo of viion, pain, and proptoi of her left eye immediately after catheterization of the left middle meningeal artery. Computed tomography (CT) revealed that contrat material had extravaated into the orbit. Her ymptom improved with lateral canthotomy and cantholyi and reolved totally within 24 hour without the need for an orbital urgical procedure to remove the contrat material. CONCLUION: Thi report decribe an unuual caue of the orbital compreion yndrome
