Ultraonographic evidence of a muhroom-haped choroidal metatai

PURPOE: To decribe the evolution of a “collar-button” or muhroom-haped choroidal metatai. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 52-year-old woman with known primary colon cancer and widepread extraocular metatae developed bilateral choroidal mae with neuroenory retinal detachment. Clinical and ultraound evaluation demontrated evolution of a choroidal metatai with a “collar-button” configuration in the right eye. CONCLUION: A choroidal metatai may develop a muhroom-haped configuration. Thi “collar-button” configuration i not pathognomonic for choroidal melanoma.
