Abstract :
PURPOE: To report a patient with unilateral glaucoma aociated with oto yndrome. oto yndrome (cerebral gigantim) i a diorder of growth and development with characteritic facial change and normal endocrine function. Ocular manifetation may alo include megalocornea, iri hypoplaia, cataract, megalophthalmo, trabimu, nytagmu, and retinal dytrophy.
METHOD: Cae report. A 50 year-old man with the clinical feature of oto yndrome preented with complaint of decreaed viion in the left eye.
REULT: Ophthalmologic examination revealed bilateral megalocornea, megalophthalmo, iri hypoplaia and tranillumination defect, cataract, and unilateral glaucoma. Intraocular preure wa lowered, and viual field lo wa tabilized with topical medication.
CONCLUION: oto yndrome patient hould be examined routinely to allow for early detection and treatment of potential ocular problem, including glaucoma.
