Primary intraoeou cavernou hemangioma of the orbit

PURPOE: Primary orbital intraoeou hemangioma i a rare, benign neoplam preenting mot frequently in patient in their fourth or fifth decade of life. We decribe an elderly patient affected by thi tumor. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 75-year-old man preented with a lowly growing, bony ma in the left orbital rim inferolaterally. He had a hitory of nephrectomy becaue of a renal carcinoma. Computed tomography howed a bony leion with internal radiating trabeculation. A biopy wa performed. Hitopathologically, the tumor wa an intraoeou cavernou hemangioma. CONCLUION: Primary intraoeou cavernou hemangioma of the orbit may infrequently affect elderly patient. One indication for urgical removal of thee tumor in the abence of viual diturbance i to rule out metatatic dieae in patient with a hitory of malignancy
