  • Abstract
    PURPOE: To report a cae of a corneal melanoma after trauma. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 68-year-old man utained an ocular injury from a blat furnace exploion in 1958. In 1998, he underwent a penetrating keratoplaty for a corneal car. Hitologic examination and cell marker of the hot button revealed intratromal and ubepithelial melanoma. No clinical or microcopic evidence of adjacent conjunctival or uveal melanoma wa found. CONCLUION: Melanoma of the cornea can preent a a tromal opacity after trauma.
