Correction of cyclovertical trabimu induced by limited macular tranlocation in a cae of age-related macular degeneration

PURPOE: To report a cae of trabimu urgery performed to treat cyclovertical trabimu induced by limited macular tranlocation. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 62-year-old man uffering with age-related macular degeneration and ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization, RE, underwent limited macular tranlocation urgery. The fovea wa rotated downward, and hi viual acuity improved from 20/100 to 20/25 potoperatively. Cyclovertical diplopia perited for 6 month after the operation. A He creen tet revealed a pattern that imulated an underaction of the uperior oblique mucle and inferior rectu mucle with an overaction of the ipilateral inferior oblique mucle. To treat the diplopia, advancement of the uperior oblique mucle tendon and reection of the ipilateral inferior rectu mucle were performed. Binocular ingle viion with 140 econd of arc for tereopi wa obtained. CONCLUION: Cyclovertical trabimu after limited macular tranlocation i corrective with conventional urgery on the treated eye
